ABOUT GLOVALL

In 2026, the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries (ORALL) and the Michigan Association of Law Libraries (MichALL) merged to form the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley Association of Law Libraries (GLOVALL). A chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries, GLOVALL serves law librarians, legal information professionals, and affiliated organizations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and surrounding regions.

GLOVALL unites professionals from academic, judicial, law firm, government, and corporate law libraries to share knowledge, develop expertise, exchange ideas, and build strong professional relationships. The association advances the development, effectiveness, and value of law libraries and legal information services through education, professional development, networking, leadership opportunities, and collaboration.

As a voice for the legal information community, GLOVALL promotes innovation, encourages the exchange of best practices, and supports excellence in law librarianship. Guided by a spirit of collegiality and mutual support, the association helps members address shared challenges through collaboration and professional engagement.

Whether new to the profession or experienced leaders, GLOVALL members are part of an inclusive, vibrant regional network dedicated to strengthening law libraries, advancing the profession, and ensuring reliable access to legal information and resources.
